Unless the circumstances compelling the arrest of a Judge are sufficiently compelling, this development, confirmed by the Gusau branch of the NBA, is as worrisome as it is unacceptable, there being many ways to call a Judge to order without dragging that entire revered institution into odium and disrepute.

The National Legal Adviser of the NBA, Mrs. Linda Bala has been mandated to investigate and report back to the association within one week hence, after which further steps, if deemed necessary will be taken by the association.
