NBA HOLDS CONSULTATIVE FORUM WITH DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS

The NBA on the 11th of February 2011, held a Consultative Forum with development partners at the New Rockview Hotel Abuja. The President of the NBA Joseph Bodunrin Daudu welcomed donors from different embassies, NGO’s, Ministries and donor agencies across the country. The development partners were treated to a power point presentation on the programmes and structure of the NBA, Action points still to be undertaken by the NBA was also presented to them to assess and indicate areas where they will be willing to partner with the NBA.  Burning issues such as the 2011 April Elections, Justice Sector Reform, Economic Development and Human Rights were discussed extensively at the forum and the need for change and rehabilitation in those areas was greatly emphasized by the President.

The partners were given the opportunity to interact with the NBA President and also comment on the issues raised and areas where they will partner with the NBA in effecting the changes and reforms outlined in the action points.

The NBA General Secretary thanked the donor’s for attending the forum and also thanked them for partnering with the NBA. He assured the Donor’s of a smooth and fruitful partnership in the future.
