Representatives of the Law Students Association of the University of Abuja paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Nigerian Bar Association in a bid to familiarize themselves with the workings of the NBA. During the visit, the President of the Law Students Association Paul Negedu on behalf of his association invited the President of the NBA Joseph Bodunrin Daudu SAN to be the Guest Lecturer at their annual Law week and requested that he declare the week open.  He also asked the NBA to partner with their association in the publication of their journal; he further requested that the President write an article for publication in the journal.

Acknowledging the fact that Law students of now will be the NBA of tomorrow, the NBA President in his response commended the students for creating a link with the NBA. He applauded them for trying to tap from a fountain of knowledge instead of organizing launches; he also assured them of his support.

The General Secretary of the NBA Olumuyiwa Akinboro also warmly welcomed the Law students and asked them to always stay focused and always invite the Bar to their programmes.
