The President of the NBA Joseph Bodunrin Daudu SAN on Thursday the 2^nd of December inaugurated a new committee of the NBA, The Technical Committee on Conference Planning. This committee is designed to ensure that the 2011 conference is a success.

The Committee was inaugurated at the NBA National Secretariat in Abuja. The Committee by its inauguration brings to 14 the number of committees already inaugurated by the NBA President since his inauguration as the President of the Nigeria Bar Association. It is also pertinent to note that another committee of the NBA will be inaugurated on the 9^th of December, 2010.

The mandate of this committee as stated by the NBA President in his speech is to organize the best conference ever held by the Nigerian Bar Association. They are expected to get to work immediately on very important issues as (i) the theme for the conference, (ii) the keynote speaker (iii) Consultancy services to be utilized for registration and accommodation (vi) Tours and other sightseeing events (v) activities for the conference (vi) coordination with sections and for a for their activities at the conference (vii) Transportation (viii) Security, (ix) Invitation of Guests and coordination of their movement, (x) Any other ancillary matters for the conference.
