REGISTRATION GUIDELINES FOR NBA AGC 2011 

• There are two procedures involved in registering for the NBA AGC 2011;
  Online and Paper registration. Both are easy and straight forward. Either procedure can be followed.
• Participants who register online stand a chance of winning A BRAND NEW CAR. Your online registration entitles you to participate in a raffle draw which will take place on the 24th of August, 2011 during the AGC.
   
•  You can either register as an individual or as a group. A group in this context is a collection of a minimum of ten (10) individuals registering under a group name with one coordinator.
• Members of staff of one firm/company/organization or Branch can register together in one simple online form.
• Group registration helps you submit only one form and will minimize delays during onsite accreditation during the conference, as there will be express treatment for groups.
• •Group registration is only available online.
• If you register as part of a branch or group, only your branch or group coordinator can collect your Tags and conference materials.
• Paper registration on the other hand captures only Individual Registration. Group Registration is strictly online.
• Payments made at branch level will not be regarded: The NBA Conference account (Diamond Bank A/C No. 0262010016528) remains the only valid account into which payments for the conference are to be made.
• THERE WILL BE NO COLLECTION OF TAGS AND CONFERENCE MATERIALS BY PROXY.
• You can also make accommodation bookings online. This is attached to the online form. Hotel names and their corresponding room types are found on the accommodation page of the online registration form.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION

Stage One:

VISIT: www.nba.org.ng

• Check the schedule of fees. Identify your appropriate category (year of call to bar) and the corresponding fee.
• You can either pay online, using your ATM Debit card or do a Bank Deposit
• To do a Bank deposit, visit the nearest Diamond Bank branch and pay into the Nigerian Bar Association Account (Diamond Bank A/C No.0262010016528)

Stage Two:

• CLICK ON THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM AND FILL IT. Ensure that all required fields are filled. Required fields are in asterix (*). After filling all required fields, click on the “next” button at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the next page.
• Select the appropriate registration fee for your category of membership and click next to go to the Hotel Page.
• •If you wish to book your hotel now, please select your arrival and departure dates. Then select your preferred hotel and room type. The total fee to be paid for your choice will display automatically. Click next to go to the Payment Page.
• Choose your appropriate method of payment and click on the “process” button. A page wherein your payment details are to be entered will be displayed.
• Fill all required fields on the page and click on the “next” button.
• The summary of your bookings will be displayed.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Three check boxes will bedisplayed. Tick accordingly.
• Click on the “finish” button to submit your registration.
• A confirmation letter will be sent to your e-mail address immediately.

GROUP REGISTRATION 

• •APPOINT A COORDINATOR FOR YOUR GROUP. All communications and matters of the conference will be handled only through the Coordinator. Only the Coordinator will fill the Online Group Form.
• On appointing a group coordinator, He/She would go through two stages to successfully register members of the group.

Stage One:

VISIT: www.nba.org.ng 

• Check the schedule of fees to determine the fees for each category of participants. Participants are classified according to their year of call to bar.
• Draw up a list of members of the group to determine how many members belong to each category. This will help with summation of fees.
• You can either pay online using an ATM Debit card or do a Bank Deposit. Pay in the sum total of the fees of all the individual members of your group.
• To do a Bank deposit, visit the nearest Diamond Bank branch and pay into the Nigerian Bar Association Account (Diamond Bank A/CNo. 0262010016528).
• If you do not know all the members of your Group at the time you are filling the form, don’t worry. On submission of the form, you will be emailed a Username and a Password.

 
Stage Two:

CLICK ON THE ONLINE GROUP REGISTRATION FORM AND FILL IT. Ensure that all required fields are filled. Required fields are in asterix (*).

• On filling all required fields, click on the “next” button on the bottom of the screen. You will be prompted to verify your e-mail address. Please re-enter your email address and proceed to the next page.
• On the following page, enter the number of members of your group belonging to the different categories displayed on the screen, according to the status of registration. Eg: Early Registration Fee 1-5 Years (2), Early Registration Fee 6-10 Years (4). This means there are two 1-5 Years and Four 6-10 Years members in your Group.
• On filling the number of participants, the corresponding fees will be automatically computed and displayed. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “next” button to proceed to the next page.
• Fill in the details of each member of the Group (Title, Surname, First Name, Suffix and year of Call). For each member, click Save at the Left hand Corner of the page before you enter the details of the next member. Then do same for other members, till the details of every member are captured.
• To edit the details of any member, click on the name of the member and click on the “edit” button. After editing, click on the “save” button to save your changes.
• Click on the “next” button at the centre of the page to proceed to the next page.
• On the Payment page, choose the appropriate payment method and click on the “process” button.
• On the following page, fill all the required fields and click on the “save” Button
• On the following page, your group login name and password will be displayed. This will enable you edit your bookings at another time.
• The summary of your bookings will also be displayed. Tick the checkbox on the bottom of the page to accept terms and conditions. Click on the ‘finish” button to submit your registration.
• A confirmation letter will be sent to your e-mail address.
• You can go back to the NBA website (www.nba.org.ng), enter your Username and Password at anytime to edit details of members of the group or to add another member using your username and password. Remember to always “Submit” the form.
• By following these steps, you would have successfully registered members of your group.

PAPER REGISTRATION

• Procure the paper registration form either by downloading it from the NBA website or through your Branch Secretariat.
• Determine how much your corresponding registration fee costs.
• Fill the registration form and select your appropriate registration fee and Payment Mode (Bank Transfer, and Bank Deposit. All payments for registration fee should be credited to the Nigerian Bar Association Account (Diamond Bank A/C No 0262010016528).
• Submit your filled paper registration with a copy of your Bank Teller to your Branch Chairman as quickly as possible. Please keep your original Bank Teller and bring it with you to the conference venue.
• •THERE WILL BE NO COLLECTION OF TAGS AND CONFERENCE MATERIALS BY PROXY.
