This committee was inaugurated on the 7^th of September 2010 by the President of the NBA Joseph Bodunrin Daudu SAN.  The committees Terms of reference are below listed.

1. To liaise with the Supreme Court of Nigeria and obtain a record of all the lawyers called to the Bar thus far.
    
2. To have numbers assigned to each lawyer whose name is on the Roll in the order of first entrance in the registrar, and stored in a data format. The numbers assigned shall include the year of call.
    
3. To ensure that subsequent lawyers called to the Bar have their names enrolled at the Supreme Court in the specified data format by ascertaining that persons in charge of the enrolment at the Supreme Court are trained in data formatting.
    
4. To liaise with the Nigerian Law School to make it a requirement as proof of being called to the Bar an enrolment number.
    
5. To make the register available or easily accessible to initiatives like DBI and the Association to help it check the influx of fake lawyers.
    
6. To do any other thing which in the opinion of the Committee will ensure that all lawyers previously called to the Bar and the ones that are yet to be called have a comprehensive data base.
