The heavily tainted and corrupt octopus called INEC should be overhauled. All Resident Commissioner should also be given the boot to break totally from this sorry pass.   The current recruitment exercise embarked upon by the former Chairman and his cohort should be halted until a reliable umpire is appointed.

Whilst reiterating our position on the need for a comprehensive overhaul of  INEC the NBA wishes to throw in an exigent caveat on the appointment of new officials for the commission. The Acting President should not be swayed by opportunist with no discernible means of livelihood. Only men and women of proven integrity with cognate experience should be called upon to serve the country at this critical moment to enable the commission to achieve the desired objectives
